Hena is a Digital Fundraising Associate at Blueprint Interactive. Prior to joining Blueprint, Hena spent over six years working in the Georgia progressive political space. Most recently, they served as the Civic Engagement Program Manager at Care in Action, where they lobbied at the Georgia State Capitol to advance key legislative priorities and led voter outreach programs to help elect numerous endorsed candidates across the state of GA and other key swing states. Before that, Hena was the Research Manager at America Votes Georgia, where they were the legislative liaison at the State Capital for the state’s C4 table, supporting coalition partners and leading both opposition and legislative research efforts. Hena holds a B.S. in Integrative Studies with concentrations in Biology and Political Science and is currently studying Data Analytics and Data Management. In their spare time, they enjoy going to concerts, playing video games, hiking (but not in the GA heat), reading, and spending time with friends and family.
