Digital Campaigns Director

Blueprint is hiring a Digital Campaigns Director to join our team. We're looking for an effective strategist who can develop and lead digital campaigns (email, ads, texting, direct donate, acquisition, etc.).

We work to elect Democratic candidates and defend access to women’s health, protect the environment, and other progressive issues. If you are a curious, collaborative person and want to help us drive real change, Blueprint is the right place for you.

We have flexible work from home policies but we have a preference for location in the DMV for this position.

As a part of our team, you’d:

  • Manage, mentor, and guide a team of digital managers and associates.

  • Oversee team members to write email and ad copy, handle production, and develop email calendars and fundraising projections for clients.

  • Create regular reports and testing of email program performance results based on in-platform analytics and in-house data systems.

  • Provide leadership and strategy to drive Blueprint’s testing program, innovation and growth.

  • Partner with clients to understand their goals and develop strategies that reach those goals.

  • Expand Blueprint’s business development and strengthen relationships with new clients.

 

You’d be a great fit if you have:

  • 6+ years of experience in politics running campaigns, launching websites, or managing email marketing programs for issue-based campaigns, nonprofits or democrat allied organizations or agencies.

  • 2-4 years experience managing and mentoring direct reports.

  • Extensive experience with CRMs such as Action Network, ActionKit, Blue State Digital, EveryAction, NGP, as well as other platforms including ActBlue, Mobile Commons, or website CMSs.

  • Experience building and sending HTML emails, including testing across browsers, platforms and devices for all deployments.

  • Proficiency using data to inform strategic recommendations and to determine best practices including experience with ROI and projections reporting.

  • Written and verbal spanish language skills.

  • An interest in learning new things. The digital world is constantly changing, so we frequently test new strategies or tactics.

  • Superior organization and time management skills.

  • A strategic and analytical mind. Ideally, you love testing, learning, and problem-solving. 

  • Extraordinary attention to detail.

  • Willingness to put in that extra time and effort: sometimes, we have to work longer days or on weekends, especially during campaign seasons.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 plus a generous profit-sharing agreement along with:

  • Employer matched 401(k), no vesting schedule.

  • 100% company-paid premiums for health, dental, and vision plans for employees.

  • Pre-tax commuter benefits.

  • 15 days PTO per year plus 15 company designated holidays.
